Tony hadn't been exactly screaming and kicking about the whole idea of going to one of the parties with the boys, but he had been... unenthusiastic.
Which Reid promptly didn't so much ignore as he overrode it, dragging him along.
Now, Reid, and respectively the other three - just because they couldn't leave him alone, as an evening with Dee and Jell-o shots had proven, couldn't leave him alone - was pretty indiscriminate about the kind of parties he went to. Tonight, it was a rich boys party, and Tony dug his heels, figuratively(ish) after the suited, burly boy at the door gave him a look-over and a scowl of 'what is one like you doing here?'
"Hey, I'm not sure me in there is a good ide--"
The blond was already tugging him inside, blue eyes sparkling at him. "Screw that. Let's raise some noise!" And if the older boy had any time to ponder how his obnoxious companion had access to a gathering like this, this unquestionably, it wasn't much.
Tyler, two steps behind, was eying his boyfriend, a somewhat untypical - for the little Tony'd seen of him, at least - mischievous smile curving his lips up. "Hold on. This is going to be a bumpy ride."
And it was.
The college kids gathered there were apparently hovering somewhere between an actual party and something like the kind of cigar-smoking, bridge-and-backgammon-playing club they'd be making an appearance at regularly for most of the rest of their lives. Complete with decorative, vapid-looking companions on their arms; Tony's teeth went on an edge.
Until Reid got involved on the scene. It didn't seem like any one thing that was big. A few words here, a remark there, a well-timed laughter with that group and a snark with the other. Quiet conversation with the entertainment department.
... in no time at all, anybody who had any kind of guts and sense of fun (and that included just about all of the companions, and sadly few of the 'partiers') were having a wild time, dancing in the middle of space cleared for that. Most of the rich kids hadn't had time to do more than stare and be dazed by the sudden, inappropriate explosion of sound, motion, and colors that signified the kind of rebellion that they were far from prepared to deal with.
Reid stood for about all of two minutes, enjoying the merry chaos he'd created. By Tyler's look, Tony decided he might easily append an 'again' to that thought. Then one of the oldest present of the 'original' present started moving towards the three of them. The blond's grin turned maniacal, almost, and he herded the other two guys towards the door, quickly and emphatically enough - without attracting others' attention.
They did get accosted as they were making their escape. The poor young man was left red-faced and sputtering after the stream of absurdities that Reid served him.
Tony was laughing by the time they were outside the building, thinking of the surprised faces. When he took a full breath again, he had to say it. "You're a brat, you know that?"
Wildly inappropriate!Reid: 534

"Oh yeah, baby. Let's go get some beer?"
