Happy birthday, Caleb!

Well, this wasn't going to be an easy day, and Reid was well aware of it. So... doing what he tended to do, he set about making Caleb sufficiently distracted away from any kind of brooding.

Things would get delivered at random times during the day, the last one as close to elevenish p.m. as was possible. Probably right about on time. That one would have the card with it, simply a "Happy birthday, Caleb!" and signed from Reid. And the presents...

Well. Any dorm room could use a lava lamp right? That became very interesting after a few beers or rather recreational things, and was an easy distraction.

For the full dose of wtf laughter, one of the packages held a pair of Monthy Python Killer Bunnies slippers. Not that he thought Caleb would wear them much, but he was kind of looking forward to getting the looks of 'really? really?!' because of those. Besides, you never knew.

There were, of course, random food deliveries. Candies, mostly. At least he didn't throw in a set of party hats and whistles. Or horns, ahem.

And Reid being Reid, one of the packages was double-wrapped, and the inner wrapping held a note of, 'Do not open around your mom. Or much audience, really.'
THAT one held a pack of selected extra-sensation lubricants. Tingly, warming, popping... whatever he found, Reid chucked in there.

Of course, he wondered if Caleb would take the advice about audience or he'd get to see his reaction. He rather thought Pogue would try to talk to him about it, after. Maybe.
That was fine by him.
