He did shrug a little, at the reason. "I mean, yeah, the timing never really was... But... I guess the timing's okay, now?" Because they're talking about it. And they're doing something about it. Which sounded like it meant, actually hooking up this time. In the dating way, not just the sleeping with each other way.

"And the rest of it... we really could work it out. Hell, we stand a better chance than a lot of people, we know each other better than we know almost anyone else."

So, in other words, that was a yes from Tyler. Assuming the kiss hadn't been 'yes' enough. Or maybe clear enough.
