Pool teaching (for [profile] 6thseasonbuffy)

Yeah, it had taken Reid a bit of recon to find a place that was likely to be decent for making it possible to both play pool and relax, but then again, he had the whole of the day for it, and since he meant to enjoy things, he didn't do this bit casually, either.

Eventually, he liked a place - and no, it wasn't extremely cultured or anything. Just had a feel to it that rang true with Reid. That was enough - there was enough experience for him to trust that.

He texted the location to Tony. And then went to look around some more. No, he really hadn't been there before. So. It had to be explored, the place. Yes, it was big. No, that wasn't intimidating.

Eventually, he got home and rested a bit, because. And then he made his way to the pool place, settling with a beer to wait for the other guy to show up. Not that he had any idea where things were going to end up - maybe just a game, maybe an interesting conversation. Maybe longer hanging around would end up in them fighting, which he'd keep to civilized levels, because he'd learned, but still; and maybe they were going to have a different ending for the night altogether. Mmmm keeping an open mind.

So, on top of NaNo and everything else, ever think of applying to [livejournal.com profile] confessioncafe? I've tossed Tony into the place at the moment and it's a really small game.

Iiii am not much into games, generally, but, hmmm. Might actually consider, after next week, when I know my two ongoing canons will serve me a full plate. On top of NaNo and everything else.

For an amusing exercise: confession? Reid will lie himself and everybody else blue. And can you even imagine Vicki there?

Letting you know just so you can point and laugh: Just finishing Smoke and Shadows. Tony Foster is my hero; I want to be CB's fourth wife. /PSA.

CB is probably the most awesome man alive. And he only gets more awesome throughout the series. XD

I'm noticing. Tony might have an applying canonmate... well, you probably could guess who, within a couple of days when I finish the last book. Ahem.

*squee!* Apply where? [livejournal.com profile] polychromatic or [livejournal.com profile] confessioncafe? OH, have you gotten to Smoke and Ashes yet? It's easily the best book of the bunch.

[profile] confessioncafe - I only have the Background and Abilities to fill. And yes, I have - it's good, but at this point I want to hit Tony with something heavy on the head for his snapping at Lee. >.> he's smarter than that!

lol well...Lee has been jerking him around for months. I think a little snapping is pretty much warranted.

*blinks. blinkblinks* Lee hes been jerking him around?

Re: ooc

...Pretty much? I mean the awkward "uh, we kissed but I'm still going to make out with all these big-boobed blonde women in public so it's really visible that I am totally not gay, uh uh, you can't pin this on me" behavior coupled with the weird flirting and then backing off abruptly whenever it might actually lead to something.

I'd call that jerking around.

That was my head exploding. Maybe my experience around actors gives me a different perspective, but, um. Lee. Shellshocked. Plus. Lee kissed him. Which was pretty definite. Then told him that he meant that. Lee made a step - and then Tony did nothing. Yes, he did nothing because he wanted to protect him. And so on. But - it was his turn?

Ow, my head. *sighs* I don't think it was Lee's intent in any way to jerk him around. But now he's feeling guilty like whoa. Oops.

On the other hand, Tony's conversation with Vicki was hilarious.

lol Tony did nothing because Lee kind of...told him not to. I'll re-read the end of Smoke and Mirrors, but I'm pretty sure the end was Lee admitting he meant the kiss and then telling Tony that things had to go back to the way they were before they kissed. Which is...a dick move, but hey, I can't blame Lee for being cagey about that kind of thing.

Lee told him that the show must go on. Not what he should or shouldn't do. Again, shellshocked, not in the least because of Brenda. Whom he was last kissing not in the least to see if he'd make Tony jealous (that was a dick move. Then again, that also happened before the house locked down and things became way, way more serious).

Gods, those two will drive me nuts with their miscommunication. I hear there's a stapler involved before they manage to get it straight.

... *just read the scene where Lee wakes up Tony and gets him to the shower, might have bruised forehead with facepalming* That is not jerking around. That's Lee who has just as much of a crush on Tony as goes the other way around. That is also... *speechless* yeah, Tanya Huff doesn't make it easy on her boys.
